Mind Stretchers Online Classes Terms and Conditions 2025

 

1. Online classes must be paid for in full prior to commencement.

2. By enrolling in a class, parents/carers are in agreement that their child can attend the online class at the time stated which will be in AEDT or AEST.

3. Class prices are per homeschooling family (one household).

4. Classes are 45 minutes in duration, unless agreed otherwise between parents/carers and Mind Stretchers.

5. A parent/carer must be in the same room and within earshot of the Zoom session. 

6. Each online session will be delivered via the Zoom platform. Parents/Carers will be required to set up a free Zoom account prior to the first session.

7. Classes are live sessions and they are recorded and available on replay for two weeks.

8. The Zoom meeting code and link will be emailed before the first session.

9. It is recommended that parents/carers log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes before the session starts.

10. Learners will need a quiet space to participate in the session.

11. Access to a desktop or laptop computer with both a working camera and sound is required.

12. Parents/carers will be informed prior to the class if particular resources are required other than basic stationery. The resource list is available on the booking pages and is also emailed upon booking a class.

13. Students will need access to the internet. It is recommended that parents/carers have a backup plan (e.g. access to a mobile phone hotspot or use of a dongle) in the event of internet signal issues.

14. In the event of Mind Stretchers experiencing internet issues, an alternative date/time for a make up session will be offered or a full refund will be provided.

15. Your Mind Stretchers tutor will share Zoom class behaviour expectations with students at the start of a class.

16. In the event of disruptive or disrespectful behaviour during group classes, Mind Stretchers will provide a reminder to students about expectations and contact parent/carers to discuss the best course of action.

17. Mind Stretchers reserves the right to cancel a class if the numbers enrolled make the class unviable. A full refund will be made in this instance.

18. Mind Stretchers reserve the right to cancel a student’s participation in sessions if they themselves are not thriving or if other students are being disrupted from their learning.

19. In the event that a class cannot go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances, Mind Stretchers reserves the right to cancel the class. An alternative time for the class will be offered or a full refund will be provided.

20. Students are encouraged to have videos on during the class to get the most out of the session, however, if this does not suit then they can put their camera off. Videos must be on at the very start of the class to quickly check who is in the meeting and keep everyone safe online.
