Service Description

What makes you you? If you’ve ever wondered what you’re made of, this is a science session that you don’t want to miss! Join us to investigate genetics and discover the role that D.N.A plays. Let’s discuss inherited and environmental traits and find out how peas helped scientists find out about bossy and shy genes! Watch Tracy extracting D.N.A from fruit and make your own edible D.N.A model. All activities are optional and will be demonstrated so your child can either watch along, join in at the time or do them later. Please check the resource list below. Join us live online to get the most out of the session, however, classes will be recorded so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the session on replay until the end of term.
