Meet the Vertebrates

Service Description

Did you know that there are currently about 65,000 known species of vertebrates? Yet they make up only 3% of all of the animals on Earth?! Come along and meet the vertebrates in this science session for curious kids who are interested in animals. Find out about vertebrates and help us to sort them into their five groups-mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. Discover fun facts about different animals and create your very own fact file about vertebrates. All activities are optional and will be demonstrated so your child can either watch along, join in at the time or do them later. Please check the optional resource list below. Join us live online to get the most out of the session, however, classes will be recorded so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the replay for 30 days. One ticket is per family/household so siblings can join in the fun together.
